MOTORISTS can pull off the motorway at Taunton to boost their caffeine levels at a new £500,000 Costa Drive Thru.
The outlet at the Roadchef Taunton Deane Services, the 20th Costa Drive Thru on the country's motorway network, has created 10 jobs from baristas, customer service staff and management roles.
Customers will be able to enjoy fresh coffee, sandwiches, cakes and snacks without leaving their car at the service station, between Taunton and Wellington, which is visited by more than three million customers a year.
A dine-in option is also available for drivers looking to de-stress or recharge their batteries.
Gary Lumsden, site director at Roadchef Taunton Deane, said: "The Costa Drive Thru is a great addition to our site, offering our customers more on-the-go options than ever before.
"Whether passing through on a daily commute or taking a break from a long journey, Roadchef Taunton Deane has something to suit all needs and the new drive thru showcases just that.”
Mark Fox, Roadchef chief executive, said: "We are very excited to announce the opening of our 20th Costa Drive Thru.
"We continue to invest in the very best facilities for our customers and hope that in doing so, we will de-stress and delight road users across the country, making their journeys as enjoyable as possible."
Other brands already operating at the servies are McDonald’s, WHSmith, Chozen Noodle, The Cornish Bakery and Fresh Food Café.
