CHINESE takeaways are one of the most popular dinner options for millions - and there is no shortage of options on offer in Somerset.
The majority of people trust that the takeaways we frequent are clean when we go to get our evening meal.
But just how clean is your local takeaway?
A food hygiene rating is given to all businesses which serve food to the public.
Businesses are awarded a rating following an inspection which measures an eatery based on the the three following criteria:
- Hygienic food handling
- Cleanliness and condition of facilities and building
- Management of food safety
Restaurants and takeaways are then awarded a rating from zero, meaning urgent improvements are required, to five, meaning food hygiene standards are very good.
All of the below establishments were inspected last year and the ratings have been previously published on the Food Standards Agency website.
The ratings are correct as of Friday, March 6.
