National stores announce temporary closure in Taunton
SEVERAL national chain stores have announced they are closing temporarily during the Coronavirus crisis.
Among those closing their doors in Taunton and the rest of the country are Primark, River Island, TopShop, Timpsons, TK Maxx and Moss Bros.
McDonald's has also decided to take a break - it had been serving takeaways but is now closing completely.
It comes after the Government ordered pubs, clubs restaurants and schools to close.
Churches have also stopped live acts of worship, with many streaming services on social media yesterday (Sunday).
