A CARE home in Wellington has been rated as ‘good’ during its latest inspection.
Following a visit from the Care Quality Commission, Oaktree Court Care Home has been praised in its latest report.
The home, which is part of the Majesticare group, provides care for up to 56 people.
Inspectors noted the “exceptional personalised and responsive care” received by residents in a service led by a management team focused on continual improvement.
The home was rated ‘good’ in four categories and ‘outstanding’ in one.
Marie George, registered manager since January 2018 said she was so proud of her team who have all worked hard over the past 13 months to turn the home from ‘requires improvement’ to an overall ‘good’ rating.
She said: “We are absolutely over the moon with the report.
“It’s a huge achievement from everyone and has brought some very well-deserved happiness across our lovely home.
“My team and I are passionate to ensure the residents wellbeing is always at the heart of our values and our approach to care.
“I’d like to thank everyone for all their support, and their ideas.”
