THERE were nine positive Covid-19 tests in Somerset in the latest 24-hour period.
Of those, six were in the Sedgemoor district alone.
There was one new confirmed case recorded in Somerset West and Taunton and another two in South Somerset in the period to 5pm yesterday (Sunday).
Mendip was the only district in the county council area not to record any new cases.
The latest figures take to 1,577 the total number of cases reported in the county.
The district totals are Mendip 215; Sedgemoor 456; Somerset West and Taunton 506; South Somerset 400.
