A PUB landlady stands accused of breaking Covid-19 regulations after posing semi-naked in her pub with a mask barely covering her private parts.
Fiona Johnson was photographed in the Ale House with her jeans and knickers down to her knees, attempting to cover her modesty.
In another picture she has a face mask over her eyes and nose
A male customer was also snapped standing up in the Station Road pub with his trousers and underwear removed and a mask shielding his privates.
And one customer with a mask on his head appears to be ordering a pint at the bar.
The images appeared on Facebook but have now been removed.
Mrs Johnson declined to comment about the incidents at the end of last month.
A woman who contacted the County Gazette said the actions breached the coronavirus rules, which state that customers must be served at their tables and should cover their faces while standing.
She added: “It was indecent and disgusting, especially while we’re in the middle of a pandemic
“It’s disgraceful considering she’s the licensee and she broke the law. She seems to be laughing at the rules.
“What’s worse is the week before she posted the new rules on the pub Facebook page, so she was fully aware.”
The Ale House informs customers of three measures in place due to the pandemic.
There are separate entry and exit doors; customers must sign into Track and Trace before being shown to their seats; and table service is mandatory, with people banned from standing at the bar.
Asked about the incident, a spokesperson for Admiral Taverns, which owns the Ale House, said: “We take all allegations that our pubs are not following Covid-19 guidelines very seriously. These are investigated thoroughly and actions taken as necessary.”
