A STUDENT at a school in Street has launched a successful clothing business during the coronavirus pandemic.

Will Smith, from Warwickshire, who studied BTEC Art and Design and A Level Photography at Millfield School, has set up a leisure-wear brand called 'Wills Way Clothing'.

His first t-shirt design sold out in less than two hours when it was launched in November 2020.

Mr Smith said the BTEC course he did at school "changed his life".

“I absolutely would not have been able to launch my brand without the framework that my course at Millfield offered," said 18-year-old Mr Smith.

"It really is a training ground for anyone wanting to pursue a creative outlet like fashion or design."

Mr Smith is now expanding his range with a collaboration with former Millfield student and friend Mila Nikcevic.

Ms Nikcevic is currently studying Menswear at the University of Westminster.

Mr Smith joined Millfield Prep in 2014 and now attends Millfield on an art scholarship.

His clothing is manufactured in the UK. To find out more visit willswayclothing.com
