THE most recent Government figures suggest around one on four adults in the South West has now had the Covid-19 vaccination.

People have been offered the vaccine in several sites around Somerset.

A spokesperson for Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group said: "We know that everyone in Somerset is eager to find out when and how they will receive their Covid-19 vaccination.

"Our health and care teams are working exceptionally hard to roll out our local vaccination programme in Somerset to priority groups – this is being done through local GP-led sites, hospital hubs, within our care homes, large vaccination sites and pharmacy-led sites.

"We are asking everyone to support the NHS, by not contacting their GP to book a vaccination appointment.

"You will be contacted when the time is right, either by phone call or letter.
