AN open air cinema is coming to Taunton this July.
Adventure Cinema is bringing Bohemian Rapsody and The Greatest Showman Sing-a-long to Taunton Racecourse on July 24 and 25.
The news comes following the Government announcement last night (February 22) that outdoor cinemas can re-open from May 17.
Last year, Adventure Cinema brought the UK's biggest ever drive-in cinema tour to Somerset.
Ben Lovell, co-director of Adventure Cinema, said they "can't wait" to travel the country with their open air cinema.
"We had great fun putting on the UK’s biggest ever drive-in cinema tour last summer, and now we can’t wait to travel all over the country once again, this time with our open-air cinema season," he said.
"Just like with the drive-in shows, we’ve worked very hard to ensure that these events are safe and lots of fun for all the family.
"We’ve got some amazing films to show in some truly incredible spaces, and we’re excited to offer guests two things they may have desperately missed in recent months: the cinema and the great outdoors.”
The open air cinema is also coming to Frome Cricket Club on September 4 and 5, with The Greatest Showman Sing-a-long and Grease Sing-a-long.
To comply with social distancing, groups will be guided to their picnic space - safely away from other groups.
The tour will visit more than 80 locations across the UK.
Tickets for the shows cost £14.50. To book visit adventurecinema.co.uk
