ORGANISERS have made the decision to cancel this year's Bridgwater Carnival Concerts.
The concerts were set to run on Monday, October 4 and run until Saturday, October 26.
The decision has been made due to the "pivitol" role Bridgwater Town Hall is playing during the coronavirus pandemic response.

Dave Stokes, publicity director for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, said "safety and community health" is the number one priority.
"Unfortunately, the 2021 annual carnival concerts are unable to take place," he said.
"However, we are in discussions with the clubs along with other stakeholders, and we are exploring other options for this year.
"The carnival concerts as we know them will now next take place between Monday 3 October to Saturday 15 October 2022.
"Over the coming weeks, we will continue to work with our entrants, the Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnivals Association and the local authorities about our other 2021 activities, including our planned carnival procession on Saturday, November 6."
