TWO nine-year-old girls from Taunton have embarked on a walking, running and cycling mission to raise money for charity.
Beatrix Durman and Millie Barnes, who attend Queen's College Junior School, have been walking together since January and decided they wanted to give their walks some purpose.
The pair, who are in a support bubble as both their parents are key workers, started counting their miles to raise money for the RSPCA.
They planned to raise £100, but an incredible £540 has been donated so far.
"It's been fun but very tiring sometimes, I really like the cycling part and doing the sponsor event with my friend Beatrix," said Millie.
The girls have been walking in the dark, snow and even the rain and their plan is to reach 100 miles.
Both girls try to walk, run or cycle everyday and sometimes take Beatrix's dog, Fizz.
"It's been enjoyable being outside and going all lots of local walks with my school friend Millie, the best part is cycling and spending time with my dog Fizz," added Beatrix.
So far, they have completed 70 miles.
