CREWS attended a chimney fire near Taunton last night (March 9).
The fire was reported in Isle Abbotts at 9.38pm.
One fire engine from Ilminster attended the incident.
"On arrival, the incident commander confirmed that there was a fire within the flue and got crews to work to extinguish the fire using chimney rods," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"Once extinguished and advice given, the incident was handed back to the occupier."
