POLICE in the Glastonbury area have been using their DVLA powers to seize a number of vehicles that are untaxed.
They are now appealing to members of the public to report any vehicles they know of where the tax has expired.
A spokesperson has taken to social media to explain that officers can only impound vehicles that have been without tax for at least two months and a day.
A Tweet from @ASPMendip says: "Glastonbury Neighbourhood Team have been using some DVLA powers to seize vehicles that have expired tax (this must be at least 2months and 1 day overdue).
"Please let us know if you are aware of any."
