A SPEED Watch team clocked "lots of drivers" breaking the speed limit travelling through a hamlet just outside Wellington.
While many motorists were doing more than the permitted 30mph through Ford Street, some were even clocked at more than 40mph.
A social media post from Wellington Neighbourhood Policing yesterday (Tuesday) said: "Speed Watch in Ford Street.
"Ford Street is a 30mph zone.
"Lots of drivers caught in excess of this and many in excess of 40mph."
A number of people commented on the post suggesting that speeding is also an issue elsewhere in the area.
One suggested Mantle Street becomes "a race track" after 10pm.
Another said there was a problem in Rockwell Green, particularly bewteen the primary school and Westford Garage.
