DULCIE Clatworthy has thanked everyone who helped make her 104th birthday so special.
Dulcie received more than 500 cards, as well as flowers and presents from around the country on her big day on Monday (March 8).
She also received a video message from TV presenter Lorraine Kelly at Manor Care Home, in Bishop's Hull, where she lives.
The County Gazette published an appeal to send Dulcie cards.
Her daughter, Barbara Clatworthy, was able to meet up with her mum on the day, which also saw certain Covid restrictions eased.
Until Monday, Barbara and Dulcie had only been able to see each other through a glass partition.
Since the start of the week they have been permitted to meet without the partition.
Barbara said: "Dulcie would like to thank everyone for their cards, gifts and good wishes on her 104th birthday.
"A special thank you to the children and young people from schools and colleges who made such beautiful cards, all vry much appreciated."
