THE Princess Royal has been in the news lately, so we thought it appropriate to show you an old picture of the pub in Canon Street, Taunton.
The decades old picture was supplied by Steve Wild.
Licensees Jess and Phil recently announced they had left the Princess Royal due to "Covid and lack of support".
Mandy and Jimmy Church have moved from the Swan Inn, in Kingston St Mary, to take over at the Taunton pub.
