POLICE have been making house to house enquiries following reports of a number of people causing "anti social behaviour with eggs" in an area of Taunton.
Officers were sent to the Lisieux Way area following various sightings of the culprits.
As well as speaking to people in the area, police have been examining CCTV images.
In a post on social media late last night (Sunday), a spokesperson for Taunton Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Thank you to you all for contacting us and reporting various sightings of the individuals causing ASB with eggs this evening in the Lisieux Way area of Taunton.
"Various CCTV has been collected, house to house enquiries have been made and PCSO George and PCSO Vlad are confident that they have cracked the case.
"Thank you to our wider policing team for scrambling to assist their Neighbourhood colleagues.
"All joking aside those involved will be identified and subsequently dealt with.
"This type of ASB affects our community in many ways, including the young and elderly, and will not be tolerated."
