ANOTHER two cars have been removed from the roads of Wellington today (Monday).
Wellington Neighbourhood Policing Team officers seized the vehicles in a public parking area near Beech Grove Primary School.
One of the vehicles was subject to a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN), meaning the owner had stated he was keeping it off the road so as to avoid paying road tax. It also had defective tyres.
The other car had been without tax for more than eight months.
A Facebook post from Wellington Neighbourhood Policing said: "Working in partnership with the DVLA, your Wellington Neighbourhood Policing Team have this morning removed another two vehicles from the roads of Wellington.
"Both vehicles were seized from a public parking area near to Beech Grove Primary School.
"The first vehicle was SORN and with defective tyres, the second had not been taxed since July 1st 2020."
