A WOMAN from Frome has been fined £83 for speeding in Bath last January.
Sarah Jayne Fussell, 55, of Church Lane, Rode, Frome, drove over the 30mph speed limit on Bathwick Hill.
She also had to pay £85 in costs, a £32 victim surcharge and was given three points on her licence. She pleaded guilty to the offence at Taunton Magistrates' Court on March 15.
A man was also fined for speeding at Taunton Magistrates' Court.
John Mullane, 53, of Alexandra Road in Clevedon, was fined £230 for speeding in Taunton in December 2019.
He also has to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and £85 in costs.
He also received six points on his licence and pleaded guilty to the offence.
Another man was fined £275 for speeding and for not having the correct licence.
James Willis, 37, of Red Lane in Taunton, drove a Mitsubishi L2000 on the A380 South Devon Link road in March last year.
He also had to pay a £32 victim surcharge, £85 in costs and was given three points on his licence.
He pleaded guilty to the offence.
Another man appeared in court on March 15 - but this time for drink driving.
Lincoln John Pether, 38, of Deacon Road, Bridgwater, was fined £742 for drinking driving on Augusta Drive, Bridgwater in September last year.
He also had to pay a victim surcharge of £74 and £775 in costs.
He has been disqualified from driving for 20 months and pleaded guilty to the offence.
Karl Brown was fined £200 at Taunton Magistrates' Court on March 15 for possession of cannabis.
Brown, 27, of no fixed address, also had to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and £85 in costs.
He pleaded guilty to the offence.
Another man was fined £184 for possession of cocaine and MDMA on March 15.
Alex Lee Kondys, 29, of Park Farm Road in Glastonbury, also had to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
