WINNERS of the 2021 Somerset Business Awards have been announced.
The virtual awards ceremony took place this afternoon (March 26) hosted by BBC journalist and presenter, Claire Carter.
Many Somerset residents logged in to watch the awards online, with finalists coming from all corner of the county.
These were the 16th awards and it was the 11th time Albert Goodman had been the main sponsor of the event.
Somerset Chamber chief executive, Stephen Henagulph, thanked everyone who had supported the awards.
“It was fantastic to be able to celebrate all that is great about business in Somerset and to honour winners from all corners of the county and from a wide range of sectors and industries,” he said.
The 2021 winners are:
- Albert Goodman Family Business of the Year (sponsored by Albert Goodman): Winner – Musgrove Willows, Westonzoyland
The runners-up were: Bridges Electrical Engineers, Midsomer Norton and Clarity Cleans, Axbridge.
- Best Use of Technology (sponsored by Porter Dodson): Winner – Cardstream, Taunton
The runners-up were: Clerksroom, Taunton and WPA, Taunton.
- Small Business of the Year (sponsored by TDA): Winner – Cognique, Shepton Mallet
The runners-up were: Petruth Paddocks, Cheddar and Harry’s Cider Company Ltd, Langport.
- Medium Business of the Year (sponsored by Brook Financial Management): Winner – Filbert’s Fine Foods, Glastonbury
