A TAUNTON restaurant has been voted in the top 40 places in the country to eat out - even before its outdoor facility has opened.
Brazz on the Green debuts next month with the second phase of the roadmap to freedom.
For five weeks it will serve customers in a luxury marquee in the car park of the Castle Hotel, in Castle Green.
The decision to move Brazz outside coincides with the Government's decision to allow pubs and restaurants to serve customers alfresco but not indoors from April 12
The pop-up eatery will feature wooden flooring, lighting, a restaurant area serving classics and favourites from the Brazz menu.
There will also be a bar with draft beer, wines and cocktails when it goes live from Monday, April 12.
It will then operate Tuesday to Saturday until May 15, with lunch from noon to 2.30pm, afternoon tea 2.30pm to 5pm and dinner 5pm to 9pm, extended to 9.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
It has been listed in The Times today (Saturday) in the '40 Best Places to Eat Outside' during Alfresco April.
