A TAUNTON woman is bringing some cheer to children having to spend Easter in hospital.
Dionne John, Mrs Somerset Galaxy, has collected 180 donated chocolate eggs and bunnies over the past month for the young patients.
She has no dropped them off at the children's ward at Musgrove Park Hospital.
Dionna said: "When the nurse came out and told me how happy this will make the children I had tears in my eyes.
"I am so over the moon with the amount that has been donated for Love Musgrove and I am so pleased this will bring a smile to their faces this Easter."
The eggs were donated by Aldi, Tesco and Asda in Taunton, and Dionne's family and friends, including her daughter Keira, who bought some eggs out of her pocket money.
