FIRE crews rescued a man trapped in a tractor last night (March 29).
The man was successfully released from the tractor on Little Silver Lane in Wellington and left in the care of the ambulance crews.
Two pumps from Wellington, the heavy rescue appliance from Taunton, a support pump and operational assurance officer attended the incident at 6.22pm.
"On arrival crews from Wellington got to work releasing the male who was trapped within the tractor unit," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"He was successfully removed and crews left him in the hands of paramedics and air ambulance crew."
