A TAUNTON mum - who has been working hard to fundraise during the pandemic - has delivered nearly 200 Easter eggs to Musgrove Park Hospital.
Sarah Kana-ah, who gave nearly 1,000 toys to the children's ward at the hospital at Christmas, decided she wanted to do something to cheer people up at Easter.
She managed to raise £160 towards her collection thanks to donations from friends, family and the community.
Ms Kana-ah said she was "overwhelmed" by he response she had to the collection.
"After such a fantastic toy collection at Christmas collecting over 1000 toys for children in need across Somerset I wanted to do something again this Easter," she said.

"Hopefully these chocolate eggs will bring smiles to the faces of so many children this Easter.
"The staff said the Easter eggs will be shared to the children’s unit, the A&E department and to a mental health unit in Bridgwater for children.
"This really made me feel happy as mental health is something I am very passionate about.
"Not only do I volunteer for MIND in Somerset, but I run my own mental health support group in Somerset - Somerset Anxiety Support.
"I also struggle myself with anxiety so I know how hard and isolating it can get at times.
"Plus I’m a mother to a nine year old little boy, so to know these Easter eggs are going to children in hospital and to children who struggle with their mental health, means so much to me.
"I hope the Easter treats will spread some much needed positivity especially during such a difficult time for us all."
Ms Kana-ah, who currently holds the title of Ms Somerset Atlantic, will be competing in the virtual finals of the Atlantic beauty pageant on April 24 2021.
"I am so proud to represent Somerset in the Atlantic Beauty pageant finals - a community that has pulled together and continuously supported each other during the pandemic," she added.
"Without the support from everyone in Somerset then delivering the eggs would not have been possible, so thank you so much to everyone who supported me with this."
Ms Kana-ah has also created a Facebook group for domestic abuse victims.
