IF you're planning to venture out and see friends and family outdoors this weekend, then the weather forecast will be at the forefront of your mind.
Luckily, the sun is set to make a few appearances in the South West, but it is likely to get colder over the next few days.
Today (April 2), is dry with plenty of sunshine, but with a maximum temperature of 13°C. There will be cloud and patches of frost and fog overnight.
"On Saturday, any frost, fog and cloud clears into the morning to give a fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine, with a maximum temperature of 12°C," said a spokesperson for the Met Office.
"Following a bright day, conditions turn unsettled Sunday night with rain turning to wintry showers, as cold temperatures and blustery winds develop."
