THERE have been just 18 Covid-19 cases in four Somerset districts in the last 24-hour period.
South Somerset had the highest increase with eight new cases, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 5,391.
Somerset West and Taunton has three new cases (bringing the total to 5,923); Sedgemoor has six new cases (with a new total of 5,306) and Mendip had one new cases (bringing the total to 3,418).
The rates of infections based on the latest seven-day rolling figures are 63 in South Somerset (down from 68.3); 22.6 in Somerset West and Taunton (up from 20.6); 53.6 in Sedgemoor (no change) and 27.7 in Mendip (up from 26.8).
