REVISED plans for 11 new units with a "strong emphasis" on "wellbeing and sustainability" at Nynehead Court Estate have been submitted.
Plans submitted last year were for units at Court Farm Gardens, but they have since been adapted to include the estate as well.
The application now includes four new properties in the walled garden at Court Farm Gardens, and seven units at Nynehead Court, where the ancillary storage units are currently located.
The farmhouse at Court Farm Gardens could also be renovated into two properties - one three bed and one two bed.
The 11 single-story units will all be designed for resident's who need an assisted living environment.
Plans also include a small community and staff building, as well as a new gardeners building at Court Farm Gardens.
John Bailey, director of Nynehead Court, said: “Since our original planning application was submitted in July 2020 we have carried out extensive consultations with the relevant consultees including Nynehead Parish Council, which have proved to be very helpful and constructive.
"Our revised application takes into account the feedback we received, whilst keeping at its heart the need for additional mews properties and environmental and ecological enhancement of the estate for the local community.”
Nearby residents are upset about the potential new units - after trees were removed from the site before the revised plans were submitted.
