A FLYTIPPER had a change of heart after he was photographed in the act by a passing member of the public.
He was snapped dumping a number of broken concrete slabs on the roadside after stopping his vehicle at Nynehead Hollow.
Noticing he had been seen, the offender then collected the slabs up and put then back in his van before driving off.
The pictures of the incident today (Friday) have been handed to police.
And officers now plan to visit the man.
A Wellington Neighbourhood Policing Team spokesperson said: "The photos below were taken today and show a male dumping a number of broken concrete slabs on roadside after stopping his vehicle as he drove through the beautiful Nynehead Hollow.
"After being spotted by a passing member of the public the male appears to have changed his mind and returned the slabs back of his van before driving off again.
"Where did he then take the concrete slabs though?
"If you’re the male in these pictures you can expect a knock on your door because the officers that make up the Wellington Neighbourhood Policing Team are very keen to find out."
