A PROTEST is set to take place this Saturday (May 1) in support of Kill The Bill.
Black Lives Matter (BLM) have organised a demonstration in The Great Western Hotel car park in Taunton at 12pm.
A spokesperson for BLM said The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill will "directly impact many already marginalised communities".
"The government must withdraw the police crackdown bill," they said.
"Are you going to be part of creating history with us to protect your rights to protest?"
They are protesting against The Police Crime and Sentencing Bill, which criminalises protests deemed a "public nuisance".
BLM fear the bill - if it becomes law - would ban their right to peaceful demonstrations.
The group have organised protests against the bill over the past month, with demonstrations held at Market House in Taunton on April 17 and on April 4.
