POLICE discovered a cannabis farm at a castle in Taunton last week.
Woodlands Castle, which is owned by Sire Benjamin Slade, was apparently rented out earlier this year, according to The Mail Online.
And now, police have confirmed they discovered cannabis plants on the site.
Avon and Somerset Police said a man has been charged with the production of a controlled B drug, following a discovery of cannabis plants on Tuesday, June 1.
"Trung Nam Pham, 39, of no fixed address, appeared before Taunton Magistrates Court on Wednesday, June 3 and was remanded in custody pending a crown court hearing," said a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police.
"Two further individuals were arrested in connection with this incident.
"Enquiries continue."
The Mail Online also stated that Sir Benjamin Slade was unaware of an illegal activity at the site.
Woodlands Castle is a wedding venue in Ruishton.
It has also held many different events over the past few years, such as the Gin, Fizz and Food Festival and wedding fairs.
