ROADWORKS starting in North Petherton today (Monday, July 5) are set to last for around three months.
The project involves constructing a right turn lane on Taunton Road.
It is among nine schemes commencing across Somerset today.
Here is the list of works being undertaken.
Taunton Road, North Petherton: construction of right turn lane, lasting 84 working days.
Stoke Moor Drove, Rodney Stoke: replacement of failing bridge structure, 20 working days.
Coal Orchard, Taunton: highway improvements, 20 working days.
Essex Close, Chard: installation of gas, water, electricity and BT.
Swan Lane, Haselbury Plucknett: drainage works, 15 working days.
Brunels Way, Highbridge: footway scheme, 10 working days.
Shoredown Lane, Charlton Horethorne, repair hole, five working days.
Church Street, Dunster: replacement of chambers and lids, five working days.
St Peters Road, Shepton Mallet: resurfacing scheme, five working days.
