POLICE are appealing for help to identify this man following an assault in Weston-super-Mare.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV image believe he could assist them with their enquiries.
It comes after a security guard at Asda, in Phillips Road, was assaulted by an unknown man.
The store worker suffered an injury to his eye and required hospital treatment.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We have carried out enquiries into the incident and are releasing a photo of a male we need the public to help us identify.
"He’s described as white, in his 20s, approximately 5ft 8ins and wearing glasses, a dark jacket and a baseball cap.
"If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5221081709."
