AVON and Somerset Police's road policing unit has reported seizing two vehicles yesterday (Sunday).
A banned motorist came to the attention of police after narrowly avoiding a collision.
Officers carried out checks on the driver following the incident on the M5 between junctions 23 and 22.
They discovered the driver should not even have been behind the wheel.
A spokesperson said: "Checks showed the driver was recently disqualified after totting up.
"Driver arrested and dealt with. Day in court awaits."
A second vehicle was impounded in Weston-super-Mare after police discovered it was being driven by another disqualified driver, who is also being sent to court.
