THERE'S a new attraction in a Taunton town centre pub.
Hideout, on Castle Green, has installed some shuffle boards.
The game is similar in many ways to bowls or curling on a table.
Players take turns 'shuffling' or sliding weights to the opposite end of the board.
They try to score points, bump opposing pucks off the board or protect their own pucks from bump-offs.
Points are scored by getting a weight to stop in one of the numbered scoring areas.
