BRITISH Transport Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a train that travelled through Taunton.
Officers investigating the incident on board a service between London Paddington and Bodmin Parkway stations are releasing an image in connection with the attack.
A BTP officer said: "At just after 8am on Friday 2 July, a man got up out of his seat, approached a young man and grabbed him by the throat before returning to his seat.
"Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation."
