MOTORISTS are increasingly turning in other drivers for breaking the law, according to Avon and Somerset Police.
A spokesperson for the force's roads policing unit has taken to social media to report a rise in the number of people submitting dashcam footage of offending drivers.
They posted this image of a van and a car being driven on the hard shoulder on the M5 during heavy traffic.
The spokesperson tweeted: "You MUST NOT drive on the hard shoulder except in an emergency!
"If you do then there is a greater risk you will be caught, as seen here on the #M5.
"We've seen an increase in the number of prosecutions resulting from public #dashcam reports to @ASPolice."
