OOOH AARSDA: Tommy Banner, from the Wurzels, opened the fun event
THE Wurzels star Tommy Banner opened a fun event to bring a community together again after the trying last 18 months.
Taunton's very own Tommy got proceedings underway at the Asda Taunton Fun Day last Thursday (September 2).
More than 200 children and their parents attended the event at the end of the school holidays.
The entertainment at All Saints Church Hall, in Roman Road, was organised and run by two local churches, Asda and the Salvation Army.
There were lots of family activities and a barbeque.
