A TAUNTON business celebrated its tenth birthday by raising £1,000 to support the NHS in Taunton.
Colin Barrell, the owner of Mr Miles Tea and Coffee, in High Street, threw a part for 150 guests.
Among the guests was Derek Miles, grandson of Henry Miles, who started the business in 1888, as well as members of Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce.
Profits totalling £1,000 from the bar and a draw, featuring a luxury hamper from Quantock Brewery, have been donated to the League of Friends at Musgrove Park Hospital.
Carol Waterman-Smith, from the League of Friends, said: "With fundraising being severely curtailed during the pandemic, this has given a huge boost to those involved with the League and sincere thanks go to Colin and all his staff at Mr Miles."
