BILLIE Eilish is the first headliner confirmed for the 2022 Glastonbury Festival.
Having been called off for the past two years, the event returns to Worthy Farm, Pilton, from June 22 to 26 next summer.
And widespread speculation over Eilish taking one of the spots atop the bill have been confirmed.
"We are very excited to confirm that Billie Eilish will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night at Glastonbury 2022 on June 24, to become the Festival’s youngest ever solo headliner," the festival said.
The appearance – Eilish’s first UK festival headline performance – follows her storming set on the Other Stage at Glastonbury 2019.

Emily Eavis said: “We couldn’t be happier to announce that the wondrous Billie Eilish is headlining the Pyramid on the Friday at next year’s Glastonbury Festival, becoming the youngest solo headliner in our history.
"This feels like the perfect way for us to return and I cannot wait.”
Tickets for the 2022 festival are sold out, with deposits paid for the 2020 event having rolled over for a second year, following the cancellation in 2021.
