AFTER a COVID outbreak in the Birmingham Moseley squad, the match between them and Taunton Titans at Veritas Park this weekend has been postponed.
A statement from the National League Rugby read 'on the advice of our medical officer, this Saturday’s game between Birmingham Moseley Rugby and Taunton Titans has been postponed due to Covid-19 concerns'.
'As it stands, it will be scheduled for November 6th, but National League Rugby will review the situation and announce a confirmed date in due course'.
This is a frustrating development for the Titans as they have played five of the opening seven games away from home.

Head coach Tony Yapp said they were really looking forward to playing in front of the home fans in Taunton.
"It is a real shame if I am honest, we were excited to return home to the fans after a lot of away trips and to have it postponed is frustrating."
"At the end of the day safety is priority number one so we understand the postponement but it is a shame," Yapp said.
Taunton RFC will still have a fixture on Saturday; the Warriors reserves team will face an Exeter University Select XV at Veritas Park.
"The Warriors side is made up of players all fighting for a place in the Titans squad; there is some really talented players in the team," Yapp said.
As well as therugby, the club is holding a ceremony to show a sign of respect to the armed forces before the match.
The Club wanted to thank the 200+ guests booked in for lunch prior to the game that have agreed to jointhem for this special service and game.
If you are looking for some rugby action this weekend, general admission is now free for the game and the event.
