GREENSLADE Taylor Hunt staff have been supporting the vital work of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance with a string of events throughout the year.
Vicky Keating, head of Finance, HR and compliance at the firm, has handed over a cheque for £6,531.49 to representatives of the charity at its Wellington head office.
Each air ambulance mission costs around £3,000, while its operational costs are more than £5million a year.
Duncan Brown, chairman of GTH, said: “The air ambulance is a wonderful charity that relies entirely upon private donations.”
Money was raised through The Coast to Coast bike ride, which saw Fiona Laramy, Claire Alers-Hankey, George Bone and Catherine Wood cycle a 55-mile route through Dorset and Somerset.
Other funds were raised via cake sales and a coastal boat trip, while GTH donated £2,500 from its charitable trust to support the charity’s crucial work.
