AN apprentice hairdresser has recently qualified by passing the independently judged End Point assessment.
Alisha Symons, of Fullands Avenue, Taunton worked hard over the last two and a half years having to navigate the Covid lockdowns and unusual times.
Alisha is one of seve7 apprentices studying to become an Inside-out hairdresser at Combers Outside-in Academy, based in the Courtyard, Taunton.
The academy is associated with the award winning Exeter College, who teach within the Combers academy with both demanding the highest standards.
Alisha said: "This made the best start to Christmas for me and I feel very proud of myself and a sense of relief in many ways as everyone at Combers and my tutor, Vicky from Exeter, has done everything to support me through what has been a disjointed time."
Director of Combers Simon Willetts said: "Alisha has done extremely well and always stays positive.
"She has been taking clients in the academy as a graduate stylist and all her fellow apprentices and all the 30 strong team that make up the two salons are truly thrilled for her."
