A YOUNG man has been jailed for possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply in a Somerset town.
Kyle Cox, 23, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty in court to the offences in Weston-super-Mare in April 2020.
He was sent down for three years and six months when he appeared at Bristol Crown Court on Monday (January 25).
Avon and Somerset Police issued a public appeal publicised on this website after a court issued a warrant for his arrest in September last year.
Cox was initially arrested by officers carrying out proactive plain clothes patrols to tackle drug dealing in Weston-super-Mare on April 14, 2020.
During a short bicycle chase he was seen to discard a bag, seized by police, which contained wraps of the Class A drugs crack cocaine and heroin with an estimated street value of £440.
He later failed to appear in court, resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.
