EIGHT major roadworks schemes are starting in Somerset today (Monday, February 14).
One of the projects will take six weeks to complete.
There are also a further four roadworks schemes starting this week.

Partway Road, Hardington Mandeville, arch ring, barrel reinstated, 15 days.
Cleeve Hill, Watchet, various works, five days.
Lane Head, Porlock, sewage connection, five days.
Knole Pit Lane, Somerton, surface dressing, five days.
Old Wells Road, Whatley, new gully and apron, three days.
Shute Lane, Bruton, patching work, two days.
TUESDAY (February 15).
Sherborne Road, Yeovil, signal refurbishment, 19 days.
WEDNESDAY (February 16).
Wyke Road, Wyke Champflower, earthworks scheme, 47 days.
SUNDAY (February 20).
School Street, Drayton, sewage connection, nine days.
Toneway and Hankridge dual carriageway, Taunton, various work, one day.
