A TAUNTON man has been jailed after appearing at Taunton Magistrates' Court, where he admitted committing four offences in a week.
Daniel Andrew Westcott, 31, of Kershaw Close, stole make-up valued at £958.19 from the Boots store in the town's High Street on January 26.
Three days later he returned to the shop and stole more make-up, this time worth £577.
He was jailed for 12 weeks on both counts, with the sentences to run concurrently with other prison terms.
Then on February 2, Westcott stole meat from the Co-op in Taunton, for which he was jailed for 18 months.
And the same dayhe assaulted by beating a man in the town. He received an 18-month jail sentence (concurrent) and was ordered to pay his victim £100 compensation.
