FANS of American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan are invited to take a trip down memory lane by enjoying a tribute act at Taunton's Brewhouse Theatre.
The Bob Dylan Story is currently touring the UK and will bring its celebration of the musical icon to Somerset's county town on Saturday, March 5.
Frontman Bill Lennon and his band capture Bob Dylan's classics, including 'Like a Rolling Stone', 'Blowin' in the Wind', 'Knocking on Heaven's Door', and 'Subterranean Homesick Blues', to perfection as they trawl through his catalogue of iconic records.
The show follows a story arc that begins with the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy and ends with his assassination in November 1963, using evocative visuals and fascinating anecdotes to accompany its music.
Lennon's other touring credits include Keef Rickard in The Counterfeit Stones and James Taylor in You’ve Got A Friend: The Music of James Taylor & Carole King.
He said: "It’s an evening of good old-fashioned nostalgia.
"We really do transport our audience back to a time when Bob reigned supreme, with all his greatest hits and the stories behind them.
"And just like Dylan’s famous Mr Tambourine Man, we can’t wait to play these classic songs for the good people of Taunton the way they remember hearing them first time round."
The Bob Dylan Story will be on at the Brewhouse Theatre on Saturday, March 5 at 7:30pm.
Tickets are available online at thebrewhouse.net or from the box office (01823 283244).
