A COMEDY theatre show is coming from London to The Brewhouse in Taunton on Saturday, February 26.
Bumper Blyton is currently on a UK tour and is bringing a homage to Enid Blyton for grown-ups in Taunton.
The show offers a hilarious tongue-in-cheek homage to Enid and her work, to be enjoyed by everyone aged 12+ or anyone who can remember being that age.
Inspired by crowd suggestions in the form of illustrations drawn by the audience, the cast invent a hilarious one-off adventure live on the hoof.
Bumper Blyton is an anarchic parody of the books everyone loved as a child such as; The Faraway Tree, Mallory Towers, and of course the Famous Five.
The Cast of Bumper Blyton is some of the UK’s best-known and most experienced improvisers.
Between them, they have won numerous awards for their work. Including two Oliver Awards, two Chortle Awards, one BAFTA, two National Television Society awards, and many more.
This means that whilst not even the cast knows what to expect from the story, you can be sure of a top-notch evening of hysterical antics inspired by the nation’s most beloved author.
The show will start at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 26. Tickets are £17.
