POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a man they believe may have witnessed a robbery in Bridgwater.
In the incident, a man in his 50s was punched in the face and robbed of his phone and wallet by Scott Cinemas on Penel Orlieu on October 30 last year.
Police previously appealed for witnesses to come forward in December.
A review of CCTV footage has since identified a potential witness.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "While the image of him isn’t great, we’re hoping he might recognise himself, or others might be able to tell us who he is.
"The man in the image had recently left the New Market pub, also on Penel Orlieu."
The offender was described as white, 6ft tall with unkempt long curly red hair and wore a grey hooded top.
Anyone who recognises the man described is also encouraged to get in touch.
If you can help, call police on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5221257932, or complete the Avon and Somerset Police online appeals form.
Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via its anonymous online form.
No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers.
