POLICE have thrown the book at a motorist they stopped in the Bridgwater area yesterday (Friday, March 4).
Officers found numerous defects after they stopped and inspected a vehicle in Woolavington.
The defects included:
illegally worn tyres;
faulty front position lamps;
faulty brake lights;
no insurance;
no MOT;
no tax.
After the inspection, the driver tested positive for drug driving.
