A TAUNTON motorist has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding at 48mph in a 40mph zone.
Terry Anthony Loker, 45, of Laurel Close, was handed three penalty points for the offence in South Gloucestershire.
But due to his "repeat offending" the points took him over the totting up limit.
As well as the ban, Loker was fined £172 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
CAIN Henry John Reynolds admitted failing to give information to the police in relation to the driver of a vehicle suspected of committing a motoring offence.
Reynolds, 20, of Stockmoor Drive, changed his plea after initially denying the offence.
He was fined £66 with a £34 victim surcharge and received six penalty points on his licence.
